Welcome to

SANDILANDS COMMUNITY
PRIMARY SCHOOL

After School Club

Sandilands runs an immensely popular After School Club. It runs every day until 5.30pm. All of the staff at the After School Club are staff who work in the school during the day.

It is a very friendly club with a family feel and is hugely enjoyed by the children. Our children love it so much they are often reluctant to go home! We accept children of any age so long as they are enrolled at Sandilands.

Activities

Children take part in a huge range of activities including:
* Arts and crafts
* Laptops
* Constuction, LEGO, K-nex, bricks etc.
* Den Building
* Role Play / dressing up
* Quiet Area
* TV / video games area
* Homework area
* Small World, figures etc
* Reading Area
* Sports Equipment
* Outdoor Area (playground and climbing frame)
* Circle / Indoor Games

Snacks
We know that many children are very hungry after school and our Club helps to deal with this by providing a substantial snack every day. This is usually something like sandwiches (ham and cheese) and fruit, wraps (tuna, ham and cheese) and fruit, toast, crumpets and fruit. We follow a healthy eating plan and we can (and do) cater for all dietry requirements. Children have access to constant supply of drinks.

Cost and Contact
Each session costs £8.00 and should be paid a week in advance. We accept childcare vouchers / schemes (our OFSTED number is 105469, the same as the main school).

For more information or to book a place, please contact Michelle Ashcroft via email at  m.ashcroft@sandilands.manchester.sch.uk or by the After School Cub mobile: 07544 882916.

Holiday Club - Summer 2016
We ran the Holiday Club this year for the second year and it was a tremendous success . The club ran for the first two weeks of the  summer holidays (July 2016) and will probably become a regular feature in future years.
